Istanbul Modern Cinema’s “Count Us In!” program returns to celebrate its 12th year, bringing together some of the most exciting and innovative films from Turkish cinema over the past year. With the participation of directors and cast, the program creates a festival-like atmosphere, showcasing works that range from documentary to fiction. These films offer fresh ideas and new perspectives to storytelling and visual style. From women’s issues to social struggles and human stories from across Türkiye, the selection highlights films that often don’t get the attention they deserve in mainstream theaters.
