22-year-old Gülizar grew up in a loving Turkish home nevertheless full of strict rules and shaped by taboos and gender roles. As she prepares to move to Kosovo with her fiancé Emre in the hope of starting a new life, Gülizar is sexually assaulted during the journey and her fairytale dreams turn into a nightmare. What's more is that this secret does not stay hidden for long. Suspecting that the assailant might be someone with whom she is acquainted, Gülizar increasingly loses her composure. This debut feature film presents a powerful female story that delves deep into trauma, societal expectations, and an individual's struggle for self-discovery.
