Rendezvous With Directors 8: Tayfun Pirselimoğlu March 14–21, 2024

In the eighth edition of its "Rendezvous with Directors" program, Istanbul Modern Cinema continues to host directors who stand out with their artistic identities and unique approaches in Türkiye’s contemporary cinema culture. The guest of this year’s series is Tayfun Pirselimoğlu, who started his film career as a screenwriter, and directed his first feature film Innowhereland in 2002. Seven feature films and two short films from Pirselimoğlu's career spanning more than 20 years will be screened as part of the program, including his latest, multi-award-winning film Kerr, and the previously unscreened short film Silence is Golden.

In addition to the screenings with the participation of cast and crew, a conversation with Tayfun Pirselimoğlu will be held on Friday, 15 March.
