The first film of the “Koker” trilogy has a simple plot: a boy took his friend’s notebook by mistake and is searching for his house to give it back. As our protagonist Ahmed looks for his friend’s house in the neighboring village, the camera records the village life and rhythm, presenting portraits of people in rural Iran. The simple but multi-layered story about the responsibility of a young person narrates the beautiful, tense and surprising things that can fill a day that harbors different possibilities.
