Based on the memories of three women over the age of 65, this film takes the viewer on a deep exploration of pleasure, desire, love, and femininity. Growing up during a time when sexuality was taboo, these women tell their stories in their own voices, and the stories come to life in the body of a single 65-year-old actress. Described by the Costa Rican director as “the conversations I couldn't have with my grandmothers,” the film is a poetic and impressive narrative docudrama in which women share their secrets and hidden desires.
