In the Aisles is a romantic comedy/drama that captures the viewer with original surprises and a witty screenplay even though it follows ordinary people in their daily lives. Christian starts working at a supermarket outside the city. During his trial period, he begins learning the tricks of the trade from Bruno who is responsible for the alcoholic beverages section. Trying to keep himself away from his old friends and his old problematic life, which he has left behind, Christian falls in love with Marion who works at the bakery counter. Yet, unfortunately, Marion is married. A favorite of film critics with its screenplay, In the Aisles follows a romantic couple that is not easily forgotten and played by Franz Rogowski and Sandra Hüller.
