Jan believes that people are intrinsically selfish. As a result, he is not surprised when the two people that he had agreed to travel together from Berlin bail out on him. Jule, on the other hand, is a believer in people’s innate tendency for empathy and collaboration, and for this reason, she invites Jan to her old camper “303”. They both want to travel to the shores of the Atlantic. Jan’s target destination is Spain; he wants to meet his biological father. And, Jule wants to go to Portugal to meet her boyfriend. At first, they plan to travel together only as far as Cologne, but with every kilometer they cover, they begin to get more intrigued with each other’s worlds: is capitalism making humans transform into Neanderthals? Does monogamy breed unhappiness? Can one decide whom to fall in love with? The two first make it to France, and then to Spain. Their conversation becomes more intense. And, now it is quite difficult for either of them to not fall in love with the other.
