Istanbul Modern Cinema launches new season with films exploring different aspects and guises of love, the subject of more ruminations, conversations and texts than any other in human history. The program features recent films analyzing the dynamics of love and reflecting on its intensity and complexity including Pedro Almódovar’s The Human Voice, his first film in English which also stars Tilda Swinton; I’m Your Man, a romantic comedy by Maria Schrader; and The Whaler Boy, the Russian film about a young whale hunter from the Chukchi Peninsula who embarks on a journey following an attractive model he saw on the web. The films will be screened online and free of charge.
Each film will be available for viewing between the dates and times indicated in the program
