Dream and Reality September 22–30, 2011

Between September 22-30 Istanbul Modern Cinema presents a film selection in conjunction with the exhibition Dream and Reality. The program’s curator Derya Alabora has prepared a selection of films featuring women directors, actresses or film characters she considers to be landmarks in Turkish cinema. The program consists of eight films. On Thursday, September 29 at 17:00 a talk will be held entitled “Representation of Women in Turkish Cinema” with guests Deniz Türkali, Derya Alabora, and Melek Özman.
