Museums Talk

Organized since 2012 by Istanbul Modern, “Museums Talk” brings together museum professionals with their colleagues and visitors from Türkiye.

A conversation platform focusing on contemporary museology and museum experience, “Museums Talk” explores the unique contributions of institutions from different countries to the global art ecosystem. The program highlights key topics such as museum management, curatorial practices, collections, archives, audience development, education and social programs, events, local and global marketing and communication strategies, new technologies, and museum architecture.

After the United States in 2012–2014, the United Kingdom in 2014–2015, Germany in 2016–2017, France in 2019–2020, and Italy in 2023–2024, with the support of the Consulate General of the Netherlands, “Museums Talk” focuses on the Netherlands in 2025.
