Suggestions for Teachers

To plan your visit to Istanbul Modern with your students, you can complete your reservation by calling 0212 334 73 41 or by contacting the Education and Social Projects Department at egitim@istanbulmodern.org. A Day at Istanbul Modern and Checklist will help you prepare for your museum visit.

Class groups from all levels of primary and secondary education, including kindergarten, elementary, and middle schools who want to visit Istanbul Modern with a museum educator can make reservations for the education programs conducted for school groups in parallel with the museum exhibitions. Artwork Review Studies with Museum Educators are associated with the Learning Objectives determined in the core curriculum. Before your museum visit, you can access the Activity Cards that we have prepared for your students, which are designed specifically for the program you attend and available for free.

Schools outside of Istanbul can make reservations for the Online Exhibition Tours and benefit from Istanbul Modern’s Virtual Detectives education program.

You can help your students’ parents to share photos of their children’s artworks through My Art - Virtual Gallery and share them with everyone.

Teachers who would like to explore Istanbul Modern with their students can benefit from the Museum Guide for Teachers prepared by the museum in collaboration with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education.
