Two angels, Damiel and Cassiel, glide through the Berlin skies, listening to the thoughts of the inhabitants below. Damiel becomes captivated by the trapeze artist Marion’s vulnerabilities and concerns about her life, prompting him to make regular visits to the circus where she works.
