Filmed over 30 years, this documentary is centered on a single question: “Why are you creative?” The director documents the answer to this question with a journey that spans from visual art to music and from literature to politics. This journey, which started off as a personal quest and turned into a philosophical problem, brings together the most influential figures of the 20th century as well as those from the beginning of the 21st century. The film is a collage of the various responses to this question from names such as David Bowie, Stephen Hawkins, David Lynch, Marina Abramović, Yoko Ono and Ai Weiwei.
