Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival, Sivas is Kaan Müjdeci’s debut feature. 11 year-old Aslan’s life consists of going to the school in his village and spending time with his friends. After discovering that the girl he likes from his class seems to prefer someone else, he finds a wounded Sivas Kangal dog left to die by its owner. The friendship he forms with the dog will be a turning point in his life.
