Scheveningen is a short documentary about the eponymous coastal town famous for its long beach, directed by Gerard Kiljan, one of the prominent graphic designers in the Netherlands, and the founder of the advertising department at The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Documenting a day of summer swimming, sunbathing, and vacationers in the town of Scheveningen, the short feature is the only known film by Kiljan. Composer and musician Başar Ünder composed a special musical score for the film that was shot without any sound.
