The naïve story of young Rauf who lives in the shadows of an ongoing invisible war in a Eastern Anatolian small village. Rauf quits school and starts working as an apprentice in a carpenter’s shop where he falls in love with his master’s 20-year-old daughter. To please her, he sets off to discover what the color pink looks like, only to find himself facing the darker side of life. This heart-warming debut feature by the two directors competed for the Crystal Bear in the Berlinale’s Generation section and won the awards for Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography at the 53rd Antalya Film Festival.
