Johann is an art-loving guard at Vienna’s Kunsthistorisches Museum and Ann a Canadian tourist who has come to the city to sit at the bedside of her cousin who is in a coma. “Museum Hours” is the story of how the lives of these two people intersect. Having come to Vienna for the first time and with little money, Ann seems virtually lost among the magnificent works in the museum of art history. She accepts Johann’s offer to help, which takes the pair on an exploration of their inner worlds, the city, and artworks.
