Director: Sierra Urich
In this personal film, Iranian-American director Sierra Urich confronts the secrets of having never visited her homeland. Triggered by a family memory, the young filmmaker delves into the complex histories of her mother and grandmother, and her own fractured Iranian identity. Through family photos and videos, the poignant documentary reflects the experiences of the Iranian diaspora and attempts to understand the elusive sense of separation that comes with migration.
