Graduation, the latest film of Christian Mungiu who received the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival, is a drama that has been masterfully finished with tension and subtle psychological dabs. Dr Romeo Aldea, who has a roller coaster relationship with his eighteen-year-old daughter Eliza, decides to stack the deck during her high-school graduation exams to prevent her from losing the scholarship she won from a UK university.
