An elderly refugee sets off with his granddaughter to take his deceased wife back to his homeland in a coffin. As they hitchhike along the road, the wooden coffin cannot withstand the harsh conditions, and begins to crack and break.  The silent conflict between Musa, who wants to get to their destination as soon as possible, and Halime, who explores her surroundings with a timid curiosity, is accompanied by everyday dialogues with the people they meet along the way. Reversing the direction of migration through a will, the director brings together funeral and wedding, the return to land with homecoming, existence and nothingness. This journey across vast steppes to cross the border prompts the audience to reflect on the limitations of language and geography.
