Director: Aleksey Balabanov
Cast: Agniya Kuznetsova, Aleksey Poluyan, Leonid Gromov

The film is named after the coffins of soldiers who died during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan, and which were sent to the country by cargo. One night in 1984, as the system of communism was slowly coming to an end in the Soviet Union, the daughter of the general secretary of the Communist Party disappears. Angelika, who suffers unspeakable horrors is the protagonist and victim of the film, which presents a variety of characters such as a scientific atheist professor, a perverted policeman, and aimless teenagers hanging out at a discotheque. Inspired by the director’s own days as a teenager, the film contains comedic elements despite painting a very dark picture of a rotten society.
