“Crafting Technology for Textiles”- a collaborative project between Istanbul Modern and the Royal College of Art (RCA), London
“Can we measure distance using our emotions, our thoughts, our ego?” In the workshop led by Güneş Terkol, the participants will create unique flags that can reflect the permeability we experience in the perception of memory, reality and imagination especially during the course of the pandemic. In the workshop in which depictions of distance will be interpreted and embroidered on fabrics, the participants will create patterns based on the drawings produced during the pandemic and sew colorful patches using fabric pieces.
