As part of Istanbul Modern’s “Long Friday” program, Palmiyeler meets with visitors on Friday, November 8. The band, consisting of singer-songwriter Mertcan Mertbilek, bassist Tarık Töre, drummer Rânâ Uludağ, and rhythm guitarist Barış Konyalı, blends ordinary themes with the breeze of the Mediterranean sun, creating unique melodies.

Before the concert, the Swing Istanbul team offers a solo jazz dance workshop at the museum. In the workshop, participants explore authentic solo jazz dance by experiencing choreography accompanied by Swing Era jazz music from the 1930s and 1940s.

Visitors with a museum ticket can attend the workshop by making a reservation.
Photography and video shooting permissions will be requested from the workshop participants.
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
For the concert, a reservation is not required; having a museum ticket is sufficient.
The concert is not suitable for children under 8 years old.
Seating at the concert venue is limited.
