In 2012, Istanbul Modern started its Gallery Talks program, which includes new approaches to artmaking, reevaluation of artworks in different contexts, and propositions of new studies in art history.
Gallery Talks covered artworks, artists, movements, inspirations, techniques, materials, and interdisciplinary relationships between art forms. Gallery Talks took place monthly and free of charge on the second Thursday of each month at the top-floor exhibition hall in Istanbul Modern.
