Swiss landscape architect Günther Vogt discusses perceptions of landscape from Switzerland and other geographies in the event titled "Expectations and Encounters." After its debut in Istanbul, the talk will also be held in Ankara, exploring the transformation of landscape imagery over time alongside reflections on national identity and the cultural production of space. Vogt highlights the use of landscape imagery as a design tool, drawing on the work of VOGT Landscape Architects and he considers landscape as cultural productions that shape the way we see the world around us. The public program will feature notable projects such as the Roof Garden at the MET in New York, the Masoala Rainforest Hall in Zurich, and collaborations with artists like Olafur Eliasson and Dan Graham.
