19.00 Bilal Karaman “experimentals” – Open Air Concert

As part of Istanbul Modern’s “Long Friday” program, composer and guitarist Bilal Karaman invites visitors into his vibrant world of imagination through the “experimentals” project on Friday, October 18. Karaman merges modern jazz guitar with world music and electronic sounds through his compositions and arrangements drawn from various albums.

Before the concert, the Hadi Blues team present a partnered blues dance workshop at the museum. In the workshop, participants learn the basic movements of blues dance and explore its characteristic features.

Visitors with a museum ticket can attend the workshop by making a reservation.
It is not necessary to bring a partner to the workshop; you can join by yourself.
Photography and video shooting permissions will be requested from the workshop participants.
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
For the concert, a reservation is not required; having a museum ticket is sufficient.
The concert is not suitable for children under 8 years old.
Seating at the concert venue is limited.
