Rendez-vous With Hilda Hidalgo October 1, 2011

In collaboration with the Costa Rican Honorary Consulate, İstanbul Modern Cinema hosts the Turkish premiere of Costa Rican director Hilda Hidalgo’s “Of Love and Other Demons.” Hidalgo was nominated for the 83rd Academy Awards with this first feature-length film adapted from the novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, himself Latin American like the director and one of the most powerful exponents of the magic realism movement. Hilda Hidalgo will attend the screening which will also include four shorts by the director.
