İstanbul Modern Cinema is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Nouvelle Vague as part of the Pera Fest, between 30 October-1 November. The Nouvelle Vague movement that emerged in French cinema in the late 1950s introduced a brand-new language that was deftly employed by such “cinematic authors” as Claude Chabrol, Jean-Luc Godard, Éric Rohmer, François Truffaut, and Agnès Varda. Don’t miss this opportunity to see a group of films that summed up the creative energies of a generation.
