Set in 19th century Sweden, the film follows Karin and Maria as they confront their fears and dishonesties while nursing their sister Agnes, who is battling cancer. Inspired by the women artists in the exhibition "Always Here", Istanbul Modern Cinema continues its "Mind the Gap" project, which aims to raise awareness about gender inequality in the film industry. The focus of the new event will be on production design and art direction, in which the lack of women is felt severely in the film industry.
