The Sofa consists of the dialogues in three therapy session between Meryem and the psychologists she visited in order to diminish the sorrow she feels after she finding out that her husband cheated her and her decision to get a divorce. During these sessions that enable the spectator to witness how a woman is torn between her pride and love, sometimes her anger against being cheated, at times when she goes beyond the limits with the help of sense of humour, Meryem seeks the answer to the questions about the reasons for her being cheated, her fear of being alone, whether her decision to divorce is right, whether she will love and she will be loved in future.
