Cast: Tansu Biçer, Nalan Kuruçim, Ercan Kesal

The inhabitants of an unnamed seaside town, a constant hum whose source cannot be identified, and a ship anchored far out at sea, waiting for days... All are accompanied by mysterious deaths and unexplained natural phenomena. In contrast to the townspeople, who are uneasy about all that is going on, one man, who says he has come to the town to work, seems unmoved by the occurrences. All he cares about is spending time with the nurse he has taken a liking to, but when the nurse notices the mark on his back and spreads the news, suspicion grows about the young man's true identity. With its masterful cast and black-and-white cinematography, Sideway is not only a story of the Dajjal and the Mahdi, but also a dark and allegorical portrait of contemporary Türkiye.
